“New Englanders can now buy their favorite soup all while being part of a rewarding cause.

Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group is hosting “Chowda Day” on Jan. 15 where customers can get a $1 cup of their signature New England clam chowder and earnings going to research at Boston Children’s Hospital.

“Chowda Day” is taking place at all Legal Sea Foods locations in the north east and is available for dine-in or take out.

This event hit a record high last year with over 4,000 cups of clam chowder sold. This year, Legal Sea Foods is hopeful to break their high record with the help of staff, supporters and hungry customers.”

“A core part of Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group is its passion for philanthropy and partnering with local organizations like Boston Children’s Hospital to raise awareness and funding for important missions. We encourage our guests to come out and support the search for cures at Boston Children’s Hospital by enjoying our delicious clam chowder at a very special price,” said Ann Marie Escobar, Brand President and Chief Operating Officer of Legal Sea Foods Restaurant Group.

That is’t all the charitable acts the restaurant chain is hoping to accomplish in the new year. PPX Hospitality Brands, a hospitality group that includes Legal Sea Foods is looking to launch a program to encourage cross-brand benefits for all employees, a performance-based bonus program for management teams, and will look at more ways to facilitate and encourage better work-life balance for all. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, employee benefits were brought to a halt. Now, PPX is striving to have their employees needs met.

PPX Hospitality Brands and Legal Sea Foods are looking to capitalize on all opportunity to great causes.”
